Extending Comfort Beyond Ourselves
When we started BlankeLuna at UNC, we wanted it to be more than a brand — we wanted it to mean something. Between late nights, exams, and conversations about purpose, we kept coming back to one idea:
comfort should travel further than our own hands.
That’s what led us to partner with Project Linus, a nonprofit that donates handmade blankets to children facing illness, trauma, and loss. Their mission resonated deeply with ours — using something simple and soft to remind people they’re not alone.
Through this partnership, every BlankeLuna blanket helps support their work, allowing warmth and peace to reach hearts we may never meet.
Because for us, faith and comfort are meant to be shared — and this is how we pass it on.

As a pre-med student, I’ve spent much of my time at UNC balancing labs, exams, and a passion for helping others. I’ve always wanted to pursue medicine — to care for people not just physically, but emotionally and spiritually too.
BlankeLuna became a reflection of that same calling. It’s a reminder that healing doesn’t only happen in hospitals or clinics — sometimes it starts with rest, warmth, and stillness.

I’ve faced my share of long nights debugging code and pushing through rigorous coursework. It’s taught me discipline, but also the importance of balance.
BlankeLuna started as a creative outlet — a way to design something that brought calm to a world that moves too fast. Over time, it became so much more: a way to share faith, peace, and purpose through design
