Founded by D’Shawn Thomas and Vidyuth Jagadeesan, BlankeLuna began as a shared vision: to create a brand that reflects stillness, care, and faith in everyday life.

Each blanket we craft is more than fabric and thread — it’s a reminder that rest is holy, that slowing down is strength, and that calm spaces can reflect divine love.

Our mission is simple:
To bring serenity into homes, hearts, and lives — one blanket at a time.

Our Foundation

We started BlankeLuna not as a business idea, but as a calling.
Between the long nights of studying, designing, and serving our communities, we realized how little time people take to truly rest. In a culture that celebrates exhaustion, we wanted to build something that celebrates peace.

BlankeLuna stands on three pillars:

Message from D'Shawn

As a pre-med student, I’ve spent much of my time at UNC balancing labs, exams, and a passion for helping others. I’ve always wanted to pursue medicine — to care for people not just physically, but emotionally and spiritually too.

BlankeLuna became a reflection of that same calling. It’s a reminder that healing doesn’t only happen in hospitals or clinics — sometimes it starts with rest, warmth, and stillness.

I’ve faced my share of long nights debugging code and pushing through rigorous coursework. It’s taught me discipline, but also the importance of balance.

BlankeLuna started as a creative outlet — a way to design something that brought calm to a world that moves too fast. Over time, it became so much more: a way to share faith, peace, and purpose through design
